For context, The Lambs Club has only 6,700 members since its inception in 1874, while membership at the New York Stock Exchange has dwindled to approximately 1,366 due to the rise of tech-driven trading platforms. Additionally, the Friars Club, once a prominent venue in the city, closed its doors last year.

The current valuation of Soho House is estimated at around $1.4 billion. Dan Loeb, the head of hedge fund Third Point and a shareholder with nearly a 10% stake, has urged the board to explore other bidders for what he described as a fair sales process.
