Christopher Dudley, a 46-year-old resident of Fairfax County, was taken into custody on July 24, 2025, following allegations of child abuse that span over two decades. The Fairfax County Police Department announced that Dudley has been formally charged with eight counts of aggravated sexual battery and eight counts of indecent liberties by a custodian.
The investigation was initiated based on a referral from Fairfax County Child Protective Services (CPS) on July 15, 2025, concerning a report of inappropriate contact involving a minor and an adult male. Following this referral, detectives launched a comprehensive investigation that uncovered disturbing allegations against Dudley.
According to authorities, Dudley reportedly engaged in inappropriate touching of a minor on multiple occasions. During the course of their investigation, detectives identified three additional victims, revealing that incidents dating back to 2004 involved multiple minors under the age of 13. All victims involved in the sexual battery charges are reported to be under 13 years old, highlighting the gravity and long-standing nature of the alleged abuse.
At the time of his arrest, Dudley was well-known locally as a real estate agent and the founder of Dudley Real Estate Group, based in Tysons. His company is affiliated with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty. Aside from his real estate career, Dudley has previous experience as a voice coach at St. Paul’s Parish in Washington, D.C. and provided private vocal coaching services through his business, Dudley Vocals, LLC, until 2024.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Dudley volunteered as a member of the Bailey’s Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department from December 2010 to October 2012. He was also volunteering as an emergency medical technician (EMT) with the Bethesda Chevy Chase Rescue Squad at the time of his arrest, reflecting his active engagement in community service and emergency response activities.
Following his arrest, Dudley was brought before a Fairfax County magistrate for a bond hearing, which resulted in his continued detention at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Currently, he remains held without bail pending further proceedings. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 5, 2025, in the Fairfax County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court to assess the case’s next steps.
The Fairfax County Police Department has assigned victim specialists to ensure that victims receive the necessary resources and support during this difficult time. Authorities are also urging the public to assist in the investigation by contacting the Major Crimes Bureau or submitting anonymous tips related to this case or any other relevant information.
This case underscores ongoing concerns about child safety and the importance of community vigilance. Authorities emphasize the need for prompt reporting of suspected abuse and highlight law enforcement’s commitment to thoroughly investigating allegations, especially when they involve trusted community members. The investigation remains active, and officials continue to encourage the public’s cooperation to ensure justice and protection for all victims involved.
