Golf enthusiasts are expected to flock to Farmingdale, as the event draws an estimated 50,000 attendees each day during its four-day duration. For those planning to attend, using the Long Island Railroad to reach Farmingdale is recommended for convenient access. Shuttle services will operate from the Farmingdale train station to the main entrance of the event. Public parking will be made available at Jones Beach, accompanied by shuttle transport for attendees.
As the event approaches, details regarding team compositions are becoming clearer. The 2025 Ryder Cup teams will each include six automatic qualifiers based on points standings and an additional six captain’s picks. Notably, professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau has been confirmed to be part of the U.S. team, regardless of his points standings. Currently, DeChambeau is ranked No. 15 in the world and qualifies amongst the top six in Ryder Cup points. They are joined in the top standings by other leading players including Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, J.J. Spaun, Russell Henley, and Harris English.
