Syracuse, New York – New business registrations in Central New York surged during the week of July 6 to 12, with a total of 33 new businesses established across Onondaga, Cayuga, Cortland, and Madison counties. This surge indicates a growing entrepreneurial spirit in the region as more individuals explore opportunities in various sectors, including food and drink as well as personal and pet services.
Among the new businesses that opened their doors were food and drink sellers, along with a pet sitter, showcasing a diversity of interests that reflect community needs. Despite the influx of new businesses, the week also saw one business discontinuing operations in Onondaga County, while three businesses ceased operations in Cayuga County.
