Whole Foods Market's new Daily Shop opening in NYC, showcasing fresh and convenient food options.
Whole Foods Market is set to open two new Daily Shop locations in New York City this spring, catering to urban dwellers’ fast-paced lifestyles. The first shop will debut on May 14 at 409 East 14th Street, followed closely by the second at 301 West 50th Street on June 4. Both locations will offer high-quality products, quick meal options, and special community support initiatives, including a presentation on local supplier loans and partnerships with local charities.
Get ready, food lovers of New York City! Whole Foods Market is gearing up to open two brand new Daily Shop locations in our vibrant metropolis this spring. These cozy and convenient spots are designed to cater to the fast-paced lifestyles of urban dwellers, all while delivering the high-quality ingredients we’ve come to know and love from Whole Foods.
The first of the two Daily Shop locations will debut at 409 East 14th Street in the StuyTown neighborhood of the East Village, opening its doors at 8:00 a.m. on May 14, 2025. Not too far behind, the second shop will make its entrance at 301 West 50th Street in Hell’s Kitchen on June 4, 2025, also at 8:00 a.m. Get ready for some tasty treats as these shops promise an exciting shopping experience.
With the StuyTown shop sprawling over 10,000 square feet and the Hell’s Kitchen location at 8,500 square feet, there will be plenty of room to browse through an impressive selection of high-quality products. These shops are perfect for busy New Yorkers looking for quick meal options or fresh produce on the go, featuring everything from organic produce and meats to delicious prepared foods.
The StuyTown store will also host a delightful Juice & Java venue, where customers can sip on coffee, tea, smoothies, and enjoy a range of sandwiches and desserts. It’s an ideal spot to grab a bite before heading off to whatever adventures your day may hold!
Speaking of adventures, you won’t want to miss what’s in store for opening day at both locations! The first 300 shoppers at each shop will be greeted with complimentary coffee and breakfast bites to kick-start their mornings. Plus, as a special bonus, those early birds will snag a limited-edition tote bag—perfect for carrying home all your delicious goodies!
Whole Foods is committed to making a positive impact in the community they serve. At the StuyTown location’s opening, there will also be a presentation about a low-interest loan to Harlem-based supplier Uncle Waithley’s as part of the esteemed Local Producer Loan Program (LPLP). Impressively, Whole Foods has poured around $34 million into over 408 loans to nurture local producers.
On top of that, both stores will be making in-kind donations to The Bowery Mission and New York Common Pantry, along with financial support for Nazareth Housing and Hell’s Kitchen Farm Project. It’s so heartwarming to see such dedication to community outreach!
At Whole Foods, quality is paramount. All food products must meet their Quality Standards, which means no harmful ingredients like hydrogenated fats or high-fructose corn syrup will be on the shelves. Additionally, beauty and body care products are held to strict standards, banning over 240 harmful ingredients. If you’re a Prime member, you’re in for an even sweeter deal, with year-round discounts on select items and an additional 10% off hundreds of sale products.
This expansion follows the successful launch of the first Daily Shop in September 2024 in Lenox Hill, and there are big plans for more shops on the horizon! A location in Williamsburg is set to open later this year, marking the first Daily Shop outside of Manhattan. With each shop occupying around 7,000 to 14,000 square feet, these Daily Shops are dedicated to fulfilling the needs of New Yorkers searching for fresh and fast options.
Whole Foods, with its solid connection to Amazon, is not just focused on opening more stores but also appealing to loyal customers and attracting new shoppers who may not have traditionally shopped there. The Daily Shop format is a hit, and we’re excited to see how it evolves!
As the countdown begins for the grand openings, New Yorkers can look forward to experiencing the delightful offerings and positive community impact of the new Daily Shops. See you there!
